Q. We would like to use your service. How do we get started?

A. After contacting Family Friends Pet Care LLC, we will set up a time to visit your home. During our free initial visit we will:
• Meet you and your pets.
• Ask you to fill out the necessary paperwork such as our pet information form, veterinary release form, and service request.
• Discuss your pet’s needs and care routine.
• Find out where necessary items such as food, water dishes, leashes, etc. are located.
• Pick up keys.

Q. Do you administer medication and injections?

A. We administer medication and provide subcutaneous injections for cooperative pets.

Q. Do you care for dogs that are kept outdoors and are not house dogs?

A. We do not provide care for dogs that are strictly outside pets unless they are in a secure kennel building that is heated and cooled. Dogs that are left loose in a yard are subject to many dangers including being let out by someone they don’t know, being attacked by another animal, or being exposed to extremes in temperature.

Q. Are there in-home pet care assignments that you are not willing to take?

A. We do not take in home pet care assignments for aggressive animals. We also do not take in home pet care assignments for individuals who breed and sell animals to any wholesale outlets, including but not limited to pet stores or auctions. We fully support responsible breeders who uphold the standard and ethics of their national breed club and would be happy to care for their pets.
